DEEPER!
Andrey Kretov, the producer with whom I worked on the comedy "Short Stories" (2012), persuaded me to make a film based on a funny idea I'd once shared with him.
- FOR A LONG TIME, I DISMISSED THE IDEA BECAUSE I WANTED TO MAKE MORE SERIOUS FILMS,
- AND IN THE END, THE FILM TURNED OUT SIMILAR IN SPIRIT TO "SHORT STORIES".
PLOT
Fired from his job in the theatre and barely able to make ends meet, an intellectually minded director starts to make porn videos to earn his daily bread. His intellectual approach and meticulousness, which were unappreciated at his former workplace, turn out to be just the thing for the porn industry. The whole world acknowledges that porn has never been so deep.

During the finale we hear "The Whiter Shade of Pale" by Procol Harum, arranged by Nikolai Inshakov in symphonic form. The producer and sound designer of the whole film score is Sergei Bolshakov of Fly Sound Studios.
